PRODUCTION FUNK IT UP!!!!!

YO WHATS UP GUYS!!
Today I am back and I have got something cool.
(Spoiler: this s going to be a short post so I will put alot of gifs i to make it longer ;) )

So yeah today I am talking about what we have coming up.
THE PRODUCTION!
We have been learning some dances and they are pretty fun.
So yeah these dances are all for the production that is upcoming and it will be very cool.
Te first dace is for the Year 7's.

I am not sure what the song it is but I know that it is not as hard as the Year 8 dance.
The Year 7 dance is kinda slow and not as fast. But it is still a long dance and hard to remember.
The Year 8 dance is a song called No Money by Galantis and it is a very hard and fast dance.  It has alot of dance moves in it that just repeats itself over and over again. Butt still its hard to remember. I actually like the Year 8 one better. Even though it is hard and really fast, I still like it the most. To make sure that this dance goes well on the night that we are performing,  I have to make sure that I practice these moves and get them suck in my head.
SO yeah I hope that the production goes well and I suppose that in the future I will b posting on acting rehearsals.
For the production  got the lead role! SO I have to learn 97 lines of by heart in 8 weeks. Geez that is going to be hard.

Today I have got to make a summary on a article and I think I might do a pretty good job.
So here it is.

POKEMON GO TAKES OVER!!
A few months ago, if you saw someone in your neighborhood walking around looking at their phone, you might have supposed they were lost. But now, you would probably suppose they are catching Pokemon. Pokemon has been around since 1995 and was a Japanese animation. It was also created as a video game on Nintendo. It has become more and more popular now because of Pokemon Go. People have made more interest into playing the game and watching the episodes. Pokemon Go was created by the same people that made google maps so that whenever there are pokestops or anything it shows some landmarks of the town that google maps has captured. But many people are getting obsessed and will not get off their phone. The real question is, is Pokemon Go become a problem?

So yeah that was my summary on the Pokemon Go news and I hope that I did an okay job?
Anyway that is all I have time for so yeah seeya.

RIO 2016 OLYMPICS BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIII !

YO WHATS UP GUYS!
Today I have returned to talk to y'all about something very important.
The olympics!!
So we are supporting NZ and we are going good at the moment.
Lately I have been watching diving because it is really cool.
China won the gold medal.
USA won silver.
Great Britian won bronze.
My favourite part was just watching them do all the flips.
It was epic.
I pretty much already knew all about diving and all the flips.
The best flip I saw was a quad back 1/2.
That is four and a half back flips!
So yeah that's pretty much that.

BOOK GROUPS (A.K.A PARTY TIME)

YO WHATS UP GUYS!
So we are going to be doing a thing called book groups for the next few weeks.
We have already had our first lesson which was pretty fun.
I am in a group with Neeve, Caoimhe, Riley and myself and we are reading a book called Among the Hidden.
It is a very interesting book so far.
When you have your group meeting you must have read the amount of chapters the group has agreed on or else...
You talk with your group about what happened in that part of the book.
After a while you might unlock crackers (only if you have good discussions).
But saying crackers practically means any food.
So let's stop talking and get into the questions.
I think we are actually working well because we don't go off topic and we stay focused at all times.
We could probably make our group discussions better by having more mature things to say and have more questions to ask during the meetings.
SO yeah that is pretty much what our book groups are about.

MEDIEVAL WEEK A.K.A WAY TOO LONG AGO

So last week was Medieval Week.
It was the longest week of my life!
We learned all about the Medieval times and everything about it.
It was actually quite an interesting topic!
So we had to learn about a sepcific topic during the medieval times and I chose Falconry and Hunting.
It was all about the Hunting and ways they used to catch food.
Anyway, let us get onto the next question....

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR LESSONS WENT?
They were pretty great.
We had to get into groups of 4 and pick a particular topic to focus on.
I was in a group with Adam, Liam Q and Daniel.
We chose to do medieval sports.
The groups had to create a power point focusing on your topic and an activity for the whole class to enjoy.
Our power point was successful and we play a gam called stoolball (it was turbo touch except you could kick it and run inti the end zone)!
Next question.....

WHAT WENT WELL?Pretty much everything really.
Everybody seemed fascinated by the powerpoint.
Everybody also LOVED the game.
So I think that it was a pretty successful lesson!

WHAT COULD YOU HAVE DONE BETTER?
Well I think that we could have rehearsed it a bit more because we stuttered a lot during the power point.
Also the game should have been more organised.
But it seemed pretty good to me.


WHICH OTHER LESSONS DID YOU ENJOY AND WHY?
I loved 2 of these topics specifically they had great activities.
There was a group with Henry, Josh, Lawrence and Dhyanesh who did market places and merchants.
The activity they did was merchant trading and it was a WHOLE lot of fun!
The other activity I liked was the group of Avania, William, Joshua and Katherine.
They focused on the Black Death.
I also liked their activity because it was a quiz on kahoot.
IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!

Anyway yeah so Medieval week was quite good(ish) and yeah.

KAPA HAKA!!

YO WHATS UP GUYS!
Today I have returned to tell you about the kapa haka activity we have been doing at school.
We have been learning many different dances and been performing them over the past 3 weeks.
So I have to tell you about what has happened, even though I have only been here for 1 lesson.
So I have found it easy because the dances are really simple to learn and catch onto.
The difficult part is having to learn all the dances without being properly taught how to do it! But I could probably improve this by making a huge effort to copy the leaders moves.
KAPA HAKA IS PAINFUL!!
