SPORTSFEST DODGEBALL!!

HELLO!
So today I'm telling you about what and how I did at the Wellington regional sportsfest!
On the 26th of August, all of the year 7 and 8s went somewhere around Wellington to play different sport.
I was playing dodgeball at th Kilbirne recreation centre.
I was playing in the boys team with Liam, Henry, Oli, Jo, Andrew, Jesse, Mahon, Riley and Fraser. Our team was called the St Benedict's Beasts!
We started or games at around 10 o'clock. Every  team was going to play five games of dodgeball.
Our first game was against Holy Cross school. We won 4-1 but it was easy.
The second game was vs  Postgate. I'm haven't heard of this school before. Although these guys beat us 4-2 we still played well against them.
Our third game we played a team called Kahurangi Whetu. We won 3-2 and only just won
Our 4th game we played Newlands Intermediate and smashed them 4-1.
The final game we layed a team called Rangikura. They were really good sportsmanship although ne of the hit me in the face with a ball. They were also a very good team by beating us 4-1.
In the end the officials counted up the points.
Both St Bens
teams came third, for boys the Rangikura team came 2nd and Postgate came 1st.
Overall I think my team played really well and had a lot of fun and will hopefully be invited back next year.

I think I helped my team by catching, dodging and throwing well. I ended up in a 1 on 1 situation against Postgate it lasted about 2 minute until I was caught out.

Flag choice

Hey brudas,
So today I am choosing which flag I would like if It were to change
So here are some of my 4 decisions

My first decision would be the Silver Fern.
This is done by Kyle Lockwood.
He also did 4 other designs similar to this.
I like this flag because it represents our country all over the world related to sport.
Since New Zealand has represented our country really well all over the world we should change it to this.

My second choice would be the Black Jack.
This is done by Mike Davison.
I like this because there is all sorts of things in here that represent our country.
Like the culture (Maori) .

My third choice would be this one.

I'm not sure who it's by or what it's called but it's cool.

I like this because it has a really cool design and it represents our country.
It also shows some nature- (korus)- we have in NZ.

My final choice would be the Red Peak.
I have no idea who it's by.
I like this because it shows what our country colours are.
It also shows we have some mountains and landscape in the country.

ART PROJECTS AND STUFF!!!!!!!

HEY GUYS!
So today I shall be telling you about art and stuff related to that.

WHAT ART HAVE I ENJOYED DOING
Some art I have enjoyed doing was doing the falling through space art because it looks really cool just looking at it. But it's weird because most people's hands and feet are bigger than their heads so it's quite ironic.

WHAT ART SKILLS I NEED TO IMPROVE
Some art skills I need to improve would be painting.
I'm not that great at painting because I am not very good at keeping
paint inside the lines because paint brushes are not as easy as colouring pencils.

NEXT ART EXHIBITION IDEAS
Some ideas I would have for the next art exhibition would be doing a lego art because some art made with lego looks really cool!! Some lego creators can make art looks realistic!!!

WELL GUYS SORRY THIS WAS SHORT BUT WHO CARES SO I WILL SEE YOU DUDES IN THE NEXT BLOGPOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DINNER INVITATION FOR...

HEY!
So today I am going to tell you about who I would invite to dinner.
1 has to be real and the other can be fictional.
The real person I would invite would be Richie McCaw.
I would invite because he is a role model to me.
He inspires me to play rugby harder and to never give up on anything. Also he led the All Blacks to World Cup victory captaining the team. Some questions I would ask him would be "how did you make all those tough captaining calls in the world cup final, 2011?" Or I would ask him "what does it feel like tackling the beast of South Africa?" Richie McCaw is a legend from NZ and he is know worldwide.

The other person I would invite would be Superman! I have absolutely no idea why I chose this guy but as far as I know he is pretty awesome. He can shoot lazers out of
eyes and he has super strength! But he can also fly! Some of the things I would ask him would be, "how do you fight off so many bad guys all at once?! Or, " what's it like to have super powers?"

Comment your favourite superhero!!!!!

ME DAD!!!!!

HEY GUYS!!!!!!!
So I am here to tell you about my awesome, fun DADDY!!
My dad is very supportive and helpful when I need help (but sometimes he could also be quite embarrassing!) The greatest memory I remember of him was when he took me to Rotorua for my birthday when I was turning 10! The day we were leaving, my dad picked me up from school and we left for the airport. Once we arrived, we boarded the plane and took off. Once we arrived we hired a huge van because my cousins from Auckland were coming down and so was my Granddad. Once my dad and I arrived at the hotel, we were amazed! There was a pool, a playground, a tennis court and even more cool things!
We had so much fun playing around the hotel.
The next day, we went to the Rotorua luge!!!
It was so much fun!! The luge carts were so easy to control!!
Later we went back to the hotel and my dad had organized a surprise for me. So my cousins and I were playing mini golf and then my dad came out and said it has arrived and so we turned around and there was a limo!!! We raced in the backseat and we drove off and visited all the famous landmarks of Rotorua and the best part was having sprite cans with us! Once the ride was finished, we went back to our hotel and gathered our things and headed towards the airport because it was time to leave. On our way to the airport, we saw the Zorb! I begged my dad to go on it and we did! My cousin Tom and I went on together. We got to hold a GoPro 3 and recorded the ride!! after the ride we went into the spa and relaxed for a bit.
Later we got changed and headed for the airport. It was really sad to leave  but I will always remember it!

WELL GUYS I WILL UPDATE YOU IN THE NEXT BLOGPOST!!!

OMAGAWD!!!!!!!! HOLIDAYs!!!!!

Hey guys
I'm here to tell you about my holidays.
In the first week of my holidays, my cousins from Hamilton came down and stayed a couple of nights at my other cousins.
For a couple of days we hung out with them and did activities with them.
One day we went and did the Otari bush walk. During that time, we went up to Ian Galloway Park and had a look at the graveyard. After we looked at that we walked back to the car park and drove home. Once we got home we had a rest and got ready for our cuzzies to come over. When they arrived, the boys and I went upstairs. We were just hanging out until my 3 year old cousin Thomas grabbed my headgear and asked me, "can I put this on?" So we put it on him and he looked like a beast! So we grabbed my rugby ball and did some lineout throws to Thomas. 2 people were lifting him and one person was throwing the ball in. After they left, I felt sick. It turned out I had a vomiting bug. So the cousins couldn't stay for the night.
On the Sunday of the 1st week of holidays, we had rugby rep trials. I felt like I trialed pretty well and I did because I got in! Our first game of reps we have to go to Fielding (Palmerston North). Then at the end of the reps season we go to Taupo for a rep tournament.
In the 1st week of the holidays my mum came back from Sweden because she competed in a worldwide event! She finished 11th in her age group which is pretty darn good!
But for the rest of the holidays I just hung out with friends.
