Sport Moniter roles and responsibilities

HALOOOOOOOOO EVERYBODYYYYYY
HEY!
This year I have been chosen to take on a role/responsibilities. That role is a Sport Monitor. For the Sport Monitor I help out with sports around the school. Also I unlock the P.E shed and roll out the trolley which is filled with sports equipment. Then once we have the trolley out, we lock the shed and roll the trolley down onto the courts. But if kids need gear from the shed, they have to ask me or the person I am on with. I run the P.E shed with J.L and Jesse but he doesn't help out as much. I run it on Monday morning teas but not lunch times because we go to tech in between lunch time and tech.

One of the ways I think I have helped out being a Sport Monitor is if kids want sports equipment I can help them. Another way is that I can referee or umpire some kids games if they want to make the game fair.

Some things I have enjoyed about this role is that it has boosted my confidence for sports. Also it has strengthened my passion for sport.

I haven't learned to much about being a Sport Monitor. Except that handling sport related things is actually not that hard.

One of the things I've found challenging was teaching year 4 kids to play touch rugby. Otherwise its been pretty easy.

I don't think I have any suggestions to change this role.

ASB money man (AKA VANE) HE MADE ME BE CHECKOUT CHARLIE

HALOOOOOO EVERYBODYYYY
HEY.
On Wednesday, we had the ASB money man come in and talk to us about money.
I am pretty sure that the company has talked to us years ago before.
THAT WAS THE TIME TRAVEL GUY!!!
BUT THIS YEAR HE WAS THE MONEY MAN!!!
But his actual name was Vanepale Sopoaga.
Let's get back on the task sheet track.
When he did his presentation I had to be...
CHECKOUT CHARLIE AND I HAD TO WEAR A  SPOTTY SCARF!!!
The lesson was worthwhile because Vane was sooooooo much fun.
Some of the key points from the lesson were to have at least some savings and to make sure that we spend money wisely and the right way.
One of my financial goals are to have lots of funds for collage/university .
Also  to save up for G.T.A 5 by Christmas.
I think I do manage my money well bt I can improve

TALK TO YOU IN THE NEXT BLOG POST BYEEEEEEEEE :)

MISSION FAIR!!!!!

WAZZUP
HAZA IN DA HOUSE

Last week on Friday we had the Mission Fair.
My group was the pillow smack down group.
Our stall was a pretty big hit.
We earned $10 in the first fight, yet we were only charging $1 per person!
But we should've charged a bit more, because we only earned about $56.
The purpose of the fair was for caritas to raise money for Vanuatu, which got badly hit by Cyclone Pam.
The entire school raised over $2300!
The plus side is that we did the best stall ever.
But the down side is that we didn't charge enough.
Also it isn't a mission fair without pillow fighting.
Plus its good to have a sugar rush from the fair for dodge ball!:)

WWI WAS BAD

HI

IM TALKING ABOUT WWI
I've learned that
a. it was a horrible war
b. many people died
c. how they entered Gallipoli and
d. how the campaign backfired

I did not attend any Anzac day events
I think it is a good idea to commemorate these events

ANZAC is a very important thing to remember because on April 25 2015 it was 100 years since they landed in Gallipoli

Most people that went to this died and the people who survived were very lucky to because the Gallipoli campaign was a fail from the start.
There were many countries participating in the war

The reason it was started was because of goverments wanting land

But the good thing is in WWI Hitler wasn't there and neither were the Nazis
So the WWI wasn't as bad as WWII

Even though the Turks had machine guns and well working rifles, NZ did their best to stay alive and defend their country

THANKS AND SEE YOU IN THE NEXT BLOGPOST!!

cricket and art stuff

OH WAZZUP
ITS HAZA IN DA HOUSE

So today I am going to be talking about 2 things. The art project we are supposed doing and the ICC Cricket World Cup  poster and PowerPoint project we did.

CRICKET PROJECT
I was put with Sarah about 4 weeks ago to do the cricket project. We were chosen to study Pakistan.
Image result for PAKISTAN
We learned lots of things about the country and the cricket team. We somehow ended up working well together?! But it was cool because I already know lots about the country.

MAORI LEGEND
We had to research and learn about a Maori legend. We went into groups and I was in a group with Ystefano and Josh Cassidy and we agreed to do our art on Maui and the sun. it will go well because we know what we are doing and we have good people for the job.

what i have lernt so far

WAZZUP ITS HAZA IN DA HOUSE
So today I will be talking about 3 things
  1. something that I've learned about the country I've been studying (Pakistan)
  2.  something about somebody in da class
  3. one other thing that I forgot
PAKISTAN

so what I have learnt bout Pakistan is that they have many famous landmarks e.g.. badshahi mosque and Lahore fort
the cricket team has the tallest bowler in the world (Mohammad Irfan)
they are the 6th most populous country
their population is 180 million people

JARDEN
So he likes to call himself BubbleJay
he's someone to laugh with
he's got swag
he's good at basic facts, maths and spelling
he likes video games
Apparently he is the sushi master and dodge ball God
he likes squids
and other stuff

ONE OTHER THING
now lets talk about that other thing so I'll ask Jarden what I should choose
he said to write about the positives of being a year 7
okay
so every Friday you get to play dodge ball
you get to go to tech
you get to rush of the bus straight away
you get better respect
you get to take more responsibility around the school

thanks for looking at this post hope you liked it and plz comment =)
